Allameh Tabataba’i University [ (ATU) is a public (state-owned) university specialised in the two main areas of humanities and social sciences. The university is divided into eleven major divisions, including 10 Faculties and a College:

Tuition Fees
On this page, the tuition fees charged for non-scholarship applicants at Allameh Tabataba’i University are provided for the 2022-23 academic year. The fees should be paid at the beginning of every semester. Any probable change in the fees will be acknowledged on the same page.
Tuition Fees
The tuition fees for international Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students are as follows:
- Bachelor’s Degree Programmes: 700-1000 USD per semester;
- Master’s Degree Programmes: 1250-1750 USD per semester;
- PhD Degree Programmes: 1500-2000 USD per semester.

There are currently 64 academic departments in ATU. The departments are distributed in the 11 divisions according to the regulations passed by the Supreme Council on Cultural Revolution, governed by the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology (MSRT). ATU is located in the capital of Iran, Tehran. Our 11 faculties and divisions are currently distributed in five main campuses located in various parts of Tehran.
